Authorities says that the syllabus of all subjects from class One to class 10th has been reduces by 10-50% and only important topics of the books are part of this new syllabus
The Punjab Government has announced that they will reduce the syllabus of classes from class One to class 10th for the academic year 2021
Punjab Text Book Board Said "All subject's syllabus has been reduced by 40-50%"
It further says that only important and necessary things would be the part of the syllabus which has been prepared for six months from September to February.
The Board also said that exams for classes from 8th to 10th will be conducted on the reduced syllabus.
This news came after few days when Centre announced that all Educational Institutes,Government as well as Private, across the country would be reopened from 15th of September.
The decesion was taken at a conference in the presence of Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood.
The Government of Punjab gave the new syllabus a name of "Accelerated Learning Program (ALP). This new Syllabus will be implemented on all schools of Punjab after reopening.
